Assassin’s Creed has been one of those up and down franchises that has been in a bit of a spiral as of these last two games. However, interest in the Assassin/Templar conflict may be renewed with a film adaptation set to be released later this year. The first trailer just came out and…wow they really decided to go with that music. The trailer looks great and really sticks with the aesthetics of the games, but that choice in music is really out of place. It’s really throwing me off. Thankfully, some wonderful soul recut the trailer with music from one of the video game’s trailer. It’s much better and you can watch that version here.  If you want to see the original trailer, you can check it out below. Assassin’s Creed will premiere on December 21st.

I studied Graphic Design and Art Education at Appalachian State University, but I've always loved the art of story telling. I also enjoy video games, animation and music. Outside of writing for The Black Geeks, I'm working on a webcomic entitled Hurts Like Hell to be released in the Summer of 2016
